A 70-year-oldRed Dead Redemption 2player has been left heartbroken, after realising what happens to Arthur at the end of the game.
Aside from beingdrop-dead gorgeous,Red Dead Redemption 2boasts one of the most emotional stories ever told in a video game. This is largely due to its well-written characters, who hit the players right in the feels during several story segments. The best character in the game, as well as one of thebest gaming protagonists in general, Arthur Morgan is particularly heavy-hitting once players learn of his inevitable fate.

While spoilers on the game have been near-impossible to miss since the game has been out for half a decade, some players have been blessed enough to be able to play the game blind, like 70-year-old gamer and YouTuber MojaveD. The player has streamed his first playthrough of the game, and recently arrived at the part where Arthur collapses on the floor, before learning from a doctor he has tuberculosis, a death sentence at the time of the game.

Arthur’s actor Roger Clark will reprise the role and lend his voice to an audiobook about the Red Dead Redemption games and the history of the West, and he’ll be doing it in-character.
