According to apress releasefrom Cryptozoic Entertainment, thetabletopRPG will allow players to be “as silly or heartfelt as they please”, and will boast a massive range of character customisation options with fun, unique abilities. As well as a pre-written introductory adventure, players will also be able to create and play through their own stories.

“Adventure Timeis one of our favourite properties, so it was the perfect choice for our firstroleplayinggame,” the CEO of Cryptozoic, John Nee, said. “The series is rich with stories and characters with real heart, and we cannot wait to let players lose themselves in the world, whether they are RPG experts or this is their foray into the genre.”
“We’re excited because the customisation options make the possibilities endless,” Matt Fantastic, the creative director of Forever Stoked Creative, said. “Adventure Timefans will love it, but so will anyone who loves to dive headfirst into the world-building and problem-solving that comes with a quality RPG.”
Right now, there’s no definitive release date forAdventure Time: The Roleplaying Game, but the Kickstarter for it will launch in ‘late summer’, so if you’re interested, be sure to keep an eye out for that.
