According to inside sources a new Banjo Kazooie game is finally happening, and I cannot contain my excitement.

According to Drake, the game “didn’t get the green light until early last year,” and is currently in a stage where “development can change a lot (abandoned ideas, internal reboots, etc.)”
To add a bit of credibility to the leak, the head of Xbox, Phil Spencer, has gone on record to say the teamhas heard the demand for a new Banjo Kazooie game, and with the company slowly releasing more and more exclusives now is a better time than any to lead with a new Banjo Kazooie.

Many fans are reluctant to believe the news, understandably so given how a new Banjo Kazooie game has been at the top of people’s wish lists for years now. They took to Reddit toshare their reactionsto the leak.

Unfortunately there aren’t any other details to report at the time of writing, but fingers-crossed we receive official confirmation from Xbox either later this year or sometime next year.
