Another Xbox console exclusive is officially coming to the PlayStation 4 and 5. Indie adventureSomervilleis set to arrive on Sony’s consoles later this month.
It wouldn’t be the firstXboxexclusive to reachPlayStationso far this year.High On Life, the comedic first-person shooter from Squanch Games,was released on PlayStation 4 and 5just a few short weeks ago on 22 July.Scorn, the survival horror game from Serbian studio Ebb Software, is also set to finally release on PlayStation later this year after landing on Windows PC and Xbox in October 2022. There’s no set release date for that one though just yet. Today, we’re here to talk aboutSomervillewhich will be released on the PS4/5 on 31 August.

On the other hand, it did draw a 40 from PC Gamer whosaid, “Somervillenever hits its stride, thanks to flat direction and frustrating mechanics.” If you ask me though, it’s a very enjoyable game that’s worth picking up when it lands on PlayStation on 31 August.
