If you’ve playedStar Wars Jedi: Fallen Orderand you’re up to date on the opening two episodes ofAhsoka, you may have found yourself recreating the Leo pointing meme.
Ahsokaappears to be the fresh lease of life that theStar Warsfranchise needed. Don’t get me wrong, I think the last Star Wars outing,Andor, is amongst one of the greatest there is. The issue is,The Book of Boba FettandObi-Wan Kenobileft so many fans feeling franchise fatigue thatAndordidn’t exactly pull in the viewers it deserved.Ahsokaseems to have struck both chords. It’s oh so very excellent (so far anyway) and it’s drawing viewers in too, restoring their interest in the franchise. In fact, it’s thebest-rated Star Wars outing sinceReturn of the Jediaccording to fans. Fans of EA’sJedi: Fallen Ordergame would’ve been extra excited though at the introduction of the Nightsisters of Dathomir.

It’s later revealed that Morgan is none other than one of the Nightsisters of Dathomir. It’s an interesting development because we were led to believe that Merrin was one of the last surviving Nightsisters, but it turns out Morgan survived too. Are there more Nightsisters out there?
If you don’t know, in the Star Wars canon, Nightsister leader Mother Talzin was the mother of Darth Maul. She encouraged him to become Darth Sidious’ apprentice, leading to a conflict between Count Dooku and Asajj Ventress causing Darth Sidious to attempt to wipe out all of the Nigthsisters. I wish we’d got a live-action Merrin. Perhaps one day.
