Sony has announced that all of the live action Spider-Man films will be returning to cinemas across the months of April through to June. This event is to celebrate 100 years of Columbia Pictures and the films will arrive in the same order they were originally distributed.
This means you can see the Sam Raimi trilogy starring Tobey Maguire andKirsten Dunst; you’ll be able to watch Andrew Garfield’s turn as the hero, with Emma Stone, in his two films; then you can catchTom Hollandand Zendaya in the MCU trilogy. If you’re a webhead, this is a great chance to watch the brilliant films once again on the big screen.

Well, whatever the reason, it’s cause to celebrate. As if we need an excuse to rewatch Tobey Maguire discover his powers in the original film, or rock out on the street in his black suit from the third. This also gives us a chance to appreciate Andrew Garfield’s performance which, let’s be honest, is pretty underrated.
There is no word on theSpider-Versefilms making a comeback which is a shame, but hardly a surprise given the most recent film wasn’t out long ago. While we’re on the subject of Spider-Man films, there is no concrete news on Tom Holland’s next appearance. The last we heard, he is waiting for the right story to bring his version of Spidey back. Hopefully it won’t be long because the MCU needs our friendly neighbourhoodSpider-Man.
