Assassin’s Creed 3 gets stunning free next-gen remaster

We love seeing remasters of older games, there’s something wonderful about seeing older games given a bit of love and being spruced up. One series recently benefitting a great deal from these remaster projects is Assassin’s Creed.

Assassin’s Creed IIIhas a lot of fans for its expansion into America.

Well, consider us told. To be fair, taking a look through the images on the mod page we can see what they mean. Reshading the game has made it look lovely and definitely gives it more of a visual flair compared to the original release. It’s worth noting, that this is a pretty new mod, so it doesn’t have many endorsements onNexus Mods, but it seems to do the job so props to creator JuuanAguiilera.

Assassin’s Creed IIItook players through the American revolution in 1775 as Connor, a native American assassin. You would be roaming the streets at night in one moment, and the next would take you to the chaotic battlefields of the war. It was a very different direction for the franchise which had, until this point, kept the action to smaller cities and towns.

While the third instalment often gets a bad rap, it has held up surprisingly well over the years and Connor proved himself to be one of the better assassins from the earlier games.

Why not play it again with this mod installed? The reshade project also works onBlack FlagandRogue, so you can expand your revisits.
