
Over the years since its inception in 2007, Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed series has supplied us with some absolute bangers.
At least for the most part, Ubisoft’sAssassin’s Creedseries has been a leading franchise of the stealth/action genre. In recent years, especially during the ‘RPG era post-Assassin’s Creed Origins, there has been more of an emphasis on action over stealth which has divided fans.

Throughout the series with some entries being bigger than others, players have had fun engaging in its open world. Up untilAssassin’s Creed: Revelations, those open worlds were pretty standard maps filled with NPCs to assassinate, missions to take on as well as other side activities.

That being said,Assassin’s Creed IIIcan also perhaps be credited for being a benchmark for the series of what was to come. Firstly, it featured fun naval combat, something that would become a key feature in 2013’sAssassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag. Secondly, its open world set within the regions of Boston and New York was not only gorgeous, but it also had a quite in-depth hunting and crafting system, at least for its time.

Uploaded to the channel is a concept forAssassin’s Creed IIIon Unreal’s most recent engine and it looks stunning. It features Connor showcasing his parkour skills as well as some lethal assassinations of some unsuspecting NPCs that appear to be just chilling on a beach next to a warm fire. I wouldn’t expect Ubisoft to remakeAssassin’s Creed IIIanytime soon, but this concept certainly gives us a taste of what could be.
