A sequel following events from the original game would provide an interesting angle for Ubisoft to explore, however, the consensus seems that most would prefer a remake.
“A remake would be an instant buy with me. Loved the setting and I don’t how many hours I spent just sailing from island to island listening to the shanties,”saidAlafian.
There is always a concern that when a company remakes a game, they change too many aspects of the original, so while a remake appeals, some suggest a remaster would be more appropriate.

Does Ubisoft need to revisit some of the earlier games with new technology? Given the drama surrounding their recent games, it could win fans over.
