The mod which aims to “improve characters to 4k resolution, improving their look” can be found on Nexus Mods courtesy ofInstanity.Once downloaded to your game, it will improve the graphics for all the main characters inAssassin’s CreedIV: Black Flag.As a result, standard NPCs will not be included but rather any character that can be seen during cutscenes.

Being hailed as the “definitive AC game”,Black Flagcan be found at the top of many lists debating on which Assassin’s Creed title is the best. Telling the story of pirateEdward Kenwayduring the Golden Age of Piracy, the game’s thrilling combat system and epic ship battles has cemented it in the gaming halls of fame. As a result, fans have been calling for a direct sequel for years but to no avail.
Despite there being no news about a potentialBlack Flagremaster, fans can look ahead toAssassin’s Creed Miragewhich is set to launch on 5 October. Our very own Sam Cawley claims it is a “leap of faith that sticks the landing” in hisreview.
“For all of you who fell out of love with the Assassin’s Creed series during the RPG games, I’d urge you to take a leap of faith withAssassin’s Creed Mirage, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed,” he wrote.
