Ubisoft’sAssassin’s Creedseries has had some hits and misses over its almost twenty-year lifespan but most fans would agree that its sixth major instalment,Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, was one such hit.
First released in 2013,Assassin’s CreedIV: Black Flagtook fans to 1715 during the Golden Age of Piracy and saw them take on the role of cheeky assassin, Edward Kenway. Despite the title recently celebrating its ten-year anniversary, fans are still praising its gameplay and story and are often petitioning for Ubisoft to get to work on a remake.

It is clear that KTMX’s adjustments are worth it as we see an eight-minute glimpse atAssassin’s Creed IV: Black Flagin 4K. The creator shows us the improvements in the crystal waters of the Caribbean, the dimly lit explorable caverns and even the bustling towns that Edward often finds himself in. Despite the game originally being released in 2013 and being a beautiful game in its own right, seeing it in 4K shows how far we have come in terms of video game graphics.
