If there’s anyAssassin’s Creedgame that desperately needs a remake, it’sAssassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag. It’s been proven time after time thatUbisoftknow how to make a gorgeous open-world, so a remake that expands the Carribean to the scale of games likeAssassin’s Creed Odysseyis a no-brainer.

Others obviously think the same as I do, as anUnreal Engine5 concept for anAssassin’s Creed IVremake has been shared online, and it’s jaw-droppingly beautiful.
That being said, Ubisoft has been very busy recently with their flagship franchise, with plenty of new games on the horizon, some of which aim to go further into the roots of the series likeAssassin’s Creed Mirage, and others expanding on the RPG-style games likeAssassin’s Creed Red.

A full remake, or even a proper sequel, toBlack Flagcould be revolutionary, especially if they improve on the ship portion of the game, which is one of the only things they could have done a bit better in the original game.
Whether that’s on the cards or not is yet to be officially confirmed, though if it looks half as good as the Unreal Engine 5 concept, fans will be in for a good time.
