A lot is going on in the Assassin’s Creed community right now.AC Miragedropped and since then it’s been rumours, teasers, news and more about upcoming games; whileRedandHexeare two of the most talked about, other projects likeAC Echoesis gaining much interest from fans as the game takes the franchise in a very different direction.
You may be wondering where the series could go, seeing as it’s already covered so many locations, characters, etc already. Turns out, there’s actually a lot left in the franchise. Not only is Ubisoft going toventure into the lore of an Aztec Empirein one title, but there’s also considerable proof thatAC Redwill have futuristic locations.

Interest has been peaked in fans, though there are many sceptics among the crowd, with some going so far as to throw some series shade at Ubisft. One user said, “Ubisoftis so out of touch with its fans and former fans it’s pitiful. They are in a slumber away from reality.” They then went on to say how all media is “just remastered and remade and rebooted material”, which, although fair, doesn’t feel like just a Ubisoft problem.
Besides those odd gripes appearing in the discussion, most fans are keen to see what else will be revealed as the AC universe expands even further. Right now, the launch forEchoesis “TBA”, meaning we’re in for a ridiculously long wait. Will it be worth it? Will the game even get made? Who knows. After all, Ubisoft is still tinkering withSkull and Bones, a game pretty much a lost causeafter so many delays.
