Many fans have been begging for a remake of the original and its following titles, so they’ll be happy to hear one is on the cards.
Ubisoft’s CEO Yves Guillemot recently engaged in a Q&A for an official blogpost, touching on what the future holds for the developer/publisher and what fans should be getting excited for.
Before teasing upcoming games likeAssassin’s Creed ShadowsandAssassin’s Creed Hexe,the CEO said the company is aiming to revisit some of its past works and give them a fresh coat of paint.
Guillemotsaid: “Firstly, players can be excited about some remakes, which will allow us to revisit some of the games we’ve created in the past and modernise them; there are worlds in some of our older Assassin’s Creed games that are still extremely rich.”

The news quickly spread to the subreddits, leading to a boom of excitement for what lies ahead for Ubisoft’s flagship franchise.
“I hope Ubi goes beyond the original game and remakes the complete Altair saga. I’d love to see the PSP games expanded and modernised”saidone Assassin’s Creed fan.
