The company has surprised fans with a free new-gen patch for a franchise classic.
Okay, yes,Assassin’s Creed Syndicateisn’t the most beloved of all entries, but the opportunity to play it running at 60fps for free? I’ll take that.
“Get ready to rediscover Victorian London! Starting tomorrow, console players can download a free patch and runAssassin’s Creed Syndicateat 4K/60fps on PS5, PS5 Pro, and Xbox Series X (1080p/60fps on Xbox Series S),” Ubisoftannounced.
That phrasing of tomorrow refers to today, if that’s not too confusing, so owners of the game should be able to download the patch right now.

The Series S can only hit 1080p/60fps though compared to the other console’s 4K resolution.
Needless to say, fans are delighted with this surprise drop.
