Ezio Auditore da Firenze is back, and his “new look” is causing quite the stir within the fandom.

Indeed, without Ezio’s inclusion in the earlier AC titles, we can’t help wondering if the franchise would have become what it is today; such is Ezio’s legacy and allure.

Now that he’s officially returned in a new release, fans are nothing short of obsessed. Predominantly, their attention is over his attire, a crimson and grey/black outfit that some don’t recognise from his AC heyday.
One fan took to Reddit to enquire about Ezio’s seemingly new garb, and was met with plenty of responses to explain its origins. What was thought to be an unseen outfit is in fact one from the vaults, arguably an outfit that only gamers who have followed AC from the very beginning will recall.
