More importantly, it is expected to feature a female protagonist, named Elsa, who has supernatural abilities.
This will be the first time we see supernatural abilities such as this featured in an Assassin’s Creed title and it is no wonder that fans are eager to see what else Elsa is capable of.

“I imagine she has those “supernatural abilities” because of a Piece of Eden?” One fanmusedover on r/assassinscreed.
Another said: “Sounds nice, supposed to be really atmospheric too like the originalAC Victorywhich turned intoSyndicate, hopefully a dense city with lots of parkouring also likeAC UnityandSyndicate.”
This could indeed be possible as footage sent to Insider shows a dark and gloomy setting and a cobbled street where Elsa seemingly operates.
WithAssassin’s Creed: Hexeexpected to be set during the 16th century Holy Roman Empire, it can be assumed that we will see some variation of the witch trials.
