The lead protagonist, Elsa, is rumoured to be heavily involved with the occult, too. All in all, it sounds like we’re in for a spooky time whenHexefinally launches.

It’s refreshing to see the predictable format changed after so many years of familiarity. Granted, Ubisoft has been trying to innovate the series for some time now; however, its plans haven’t always been well received.
Undoubtedly,Hexeis destined to face some form of idiotic ire from the fandom, especially if it strays even further from the traditional AC way.
Nevertheless, while fans' hackles are already up, we’re on tenterhooks to see just how much Ubisoft will embrace the macabre; we hope it leans into the creepiness and the weird.

Before we experience any of that, or even hope to, there’sAC Shadowsfirst. Although it won’t be nearly as supernaturally charged, we’re excited to see how the characters’ stories unfold.
It feels like Assassin’s Creed is entering a new era, one which is more comfortable to play around with generic tropes the franchise has relied on so heavily.
WithHexeset to be its “darkest” instalment yet, we’re eager to see what else Ubisoft has cooking.
