To get the hub started, it has been reported that the upcomingAssassin’s Creed Shadowswill be the first game added, according toUbisoft’sMarc-Alexis Cote.

The executive producer for all of the Assassin’s Creed titles said that the Animus Hub will be a place “from which you can launch different experiences”.

Put simply, the idea behind the Animus Hub stems from the original Assassin’s Creed titles which would take our modern-day character, Desmond Miles, and put him into a machine that allowed him to revisit and live the life of his assassin ancestors.

The project stemmed from fans asking for a “more cohesive approach” to the Assassin’s Creed series which isn’t surprising considering the Ubisoft series has been ongoing since 2007 and has 13 major instalments.

We don’t know much else about the Animus Hub but it will be interesting to see how useful it will be for new players.

Additionally, we can also expect it to launch around the same time asAssassin’s Creed Shadowson 12 November.
