
Ubisoft has finally released a new-gen update for one of its most criminally underrated Assassin’s Creed games out of the blue.
The Assassin’s Creed series made its debut in 2007 on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Since then, Assassin’s Creed has been one ofUbisoft’sbiggest properties alongsideFar Cry, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon and - I can’t believe I’m about to say this - but also Just Dance.

No matter the generation,Assassin’s Creedgames have always stood out for their graphics.

Most importantly, the series provides players with the choice of stealth or all-out action alongside a compelling story of good vs. evil with the Brotherhood of Assassins contending with the Templars.
In 2014, with the introduction of the AnvilNext 2.0 engine, the series was taken to new heights, at least with its gorgeous visuals and the amount of NPCs that could be on the screen at a time withAssassin’s Creed Unity.
Albeit,Assassin’s Creed Unityinitially launched in a buggy mess but over time, it became the title that Ubisoft and its fans hoped it to be.
A year later, with most of the kinks ironed out from its predecessor, we were treated to the brother and sister twin duo of Jacob and Evie Frye inAssassin’s Creed Syndicate.

Yet, despite it being underrated, there’s still a loyal section of the fanbase that lovesAssassin’s Creed Syndicateand if you’re one of those, then today is your lucky day.
On PlayStation 5 and PS5 Pro, you can playAssassin’s Creed Syndicatein 4K resolution at 60 frames per second, and that’s the same for Xbox Series X. For the Xbox Series S, it’s playable at a 1080p/60fps.
