That being said, the latest leaked gameplay has revealed the game will feature some familiar faces, like Kassandra fromAssassin’s Creed Odyssey, a surprise to be sure but a welcome one.

The YouTube channel Assassin’s Creed Series shared the gameplay, which has since been deleted, but not before the content creator JorRaptor captured andsharedsome screenshots on Twitter.

From what was shown, it seems Kassandra briefly appears to lend a hand whilst on her own adventure, as well as teach the player a thing or two about being an assassin. It’s not the first time she’s popped up in a game that wasn’t her own either. Kassandra appeared during a crossover event inAssassin’s Creed Valhalla.

Whether Ubisoft has plans to continue featuring her as a cameo character is unknown, but it’s cool to see she’s doing well after the events ofAssassin’s Creed Odyssey. At the end of her story, Kassandra obtains the Staff of Hermes, which grants her the gift of immortality, hence why she’s still kicking in time periods that aren’t her own. Kassandra will also reappear in the upcomingAssassin’s Creed NexusVR game.
