As one of the oldest games chronologically in the series,Assassin’s Creed Originsshows us the events that happen that result in the creation of the Hidden Ones, the precursor to the Assassin Brotherhood we know and love. Additionally, the game features cameos from some well-known historical figures such as Cleopatra and Julius Caesar.

With the game just passing its five-year anniversary, one YouTuber known as Digital Dreams shared a photorealistic next-gen overhaul forAssassin’s Creed Originsback in 2021. Theconcept trailermade via the RTX 3090 with added ray-tracing shows the Ubisoft title like never before as we see Bayek explore the wonders of Ancient Egypt.
The trailer takes us to the endless sands of the Sahara as the assassin crosses his way across, each grain of sand passing beneath his feet. We also see flowing lakes bustling with boats and villagers, the ancient streets, paved with dust and footprints and temples rising up on the horizon. AlthoughAssassin’s Creed Originswas already a beautiful game, it has been enhanced thanks to Digital Dreams’ work.
In related news, fans have recently agreed that 2013’sAssassin’s Creed IV: Black Flaghasaged beautifullywhich goes to show the long-running series is timeless. Here is hoping the same can be said for any upcoming instalments set to release across the next few years.
