Assassin’s Creed Origins sequel is just what fans have been begging for

Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed series has been around since 2007 and for better or worse, the series has offered its fair share of variety.

From the original game that started it all starring the brooding Altair, to the side-scrolling Chronicles spin-offs to the more modern RPG trilogy,Assassin’s Creedhas a little bit of something for everyone.

The entries that are dubbed the ‘RPG trilogy' includeAssassin’s Creed Origins(2017),Assassin’s Creed Odyssey(2018) andAssassin’s Creed Valhalla(2020). However, the series has gone back to its 2007 roots withAssassin’s Creed Mirage.

“Agreed, but I’d like to see some more development from him. InOrigins,he just seemed to go straight from a Medjay who loves children and wants revenge for his son’s death, to the founder of the Brotherhood,” replied tsf97.

“Bayek should have had a trilogy,” said another Reddit user. “Odysseyis cool andValhallahas a lot of cool ideas… But damn I wish they would have stuck with Bayek.”

Whether Bayek will ever get a proper sequel remains to be seen, but sadly, we wouldn’t bank on it.Assassin’s Creed Originsis available now for PC, PlayStation and Xbox.
