If the latest rumour is to be believed, it appears as ifAssassin’s Creed Codename Red’s release window has appeared online - and it’s much closer than we originally expected.
The next game to release isAssassin’s CreedMiragewhich will launch on 12 October. The game featuresValhalla’s Basim and is set in ninth century Baghdad. You’ll also be thrilled to know that it mercifullyhas the smallest AC map in years. The free-to-playCodename Jaderecently put out a call for playtesters, plus there’sAssassin’s Creed Nexuswhichwill mark the return of Ezio Auditore. In fact, there are supposedly11 Assassin’s Creed games in developmentin total - potentially includinga remake ofAssassin’s Creed Black Flagwhich would be very exciting indeed. Let’s hop back on over toCodename Redthough.

Even following the edit, it still translates to say that Ubisoft are looking for a “sponsoring partner for this titleAssassin’s Creed Codename Redfor next year” (via GameRant), which gives just as much away. Feudal Japan is a location fans have been asking Ubisoft for for years, so I’d imagine this release window will go down well.
