As well as giving us a taster of what we can expect plot and gameplay wise, a possible release date may have also been teased.AdvertSet from 1450 onwards,Assassin’s Creed Redis expected to have multiple time jumps and begins with a village under attack. Although players can choose between playing as the male or female character, the pair have somewhat differing backstories which are explored throughout the game. However, unlike being able to switch between them easily like inAssassin’s Creed Syndicate,this will now only be possible upon entering specific shelters.As for gameplay, the parkour element is expected to be highly improved and is reminiscent of the system found inAssassin’s Creed Unity. You will be able to traverse cities without ever touching the ground and “grip can be used for parkour and climbing since you can no longer climb on anything and everything.” Additionally, there will be challenges and puzzles which will need you to use your parkour skills.With the developers supposedly wantingAssassin’s Creed Redto be “more down to earth” and with “less of a fantasy connection”, it is expected to be a unique entry in the series. Not only that, but the tester also reveals that devs are aiming for a Fall 2024 release, which would suggest September to November of this year.
