As a simple lad who was raised in Nottingham, I’ve often dreamed of a video game set in my hometown.
Sure,Assassin’s Creed Valhallaincluded Snotinghamscire and Sherwood Forest, but it was hardly the focus of the game’s massive open world. I demand some love for the East Midlands!

There’s already a lot for Assassin’s Creed fans to be excited about in the coming years, of course.Assassin’s Creed Mirageis taking the series back to its stealth roots in October. After that we’ve got a new game set inAncient China, anAssassin’s Creed set in Japan, andeven one centred around witch trials. But all of these pale in comparison to a fan concept that recently blew up on TikTok.

TikTok user 1keaahistoryrecently sharedtheir vision ofAssassin’s Creed: Robin Hood, and it sounds like an absolute dream come true.
1keaahistory imagines a back-to-basics Assassin’s Creed game not unlikeMirage, in which you play as the classic folk hero and recruit a band of like-minded allies - your Merry Men. The game would primarily take place in Sherwood Forest, with a sprinkling of medieval villages and the budding Nottingham thrown in. The TikToker suggests a much more compact, stealth-focused game, with our hero using the forest to gain an advantage on unsuspecting foes.
It’s actually a brilliantly thought-out concept overall. 1keaahistory suggests Robin Hood would be weaker than other assassin’s from the series, forcing him to rely more on stealth and agility. He would, of course, also make great use of his iconic bow for some satisfying long-range kills.
Do I want Ubisoft to make this game purely because I’m from Nottingham? Maybe. But honestly, how could you look at this pitch and not love it? Certainly, it’s won over a ton of fans already.

Another added: “High key a very good idea, they could do a nice parkour in the trees, introduce the bow as a weapon and have some nice historical figures.”
A third suggested we take Ubisoft hostage till they agree to make this game, but I’m not sure I’d advise that for multiple reasons.
