It was revealed in the same tweet that an “Official Cinematic World Premiere Trailer” will be released on 15 May, at 9am PT.

What we do know is it’ll take place in Feudal Japan, and be another game that follows two protagonists rather than just one.

One character will have a focus on stealth gameplay, being trained as a shinobi, whereas the other will be a samurai and be better suited to combat.

It’ll also beanother open world titlesimilar toAssassin’s Creed OdysseyandAssassin’s Creed Valhalla, though hopefully the traversal won’t be as arduous as those titles.

Another similarity it’ll share with its predecessors will reportedly be another deep-dive into the mythology of the culture it’s part of, as it’s said the story willintroduce Yokai spiritsas well as take inspiration from other Japanese folk tales.

We’re yet to see official gameplay at the time of writing, but all of that should hopefully change on Wednesday, and we also be one step closer to getting a release date.
