
We’ve been speculating along with the rest of the internet about the size of the map forAssassin’s Creed Shadowswondering just how big it would be, and now we know.
Unveiled at the Ubisoft Forward event, as part of Summer Games Fest, it appears the map will be a big one, but thankfully not as large asAssassin’s Creed Valhalla.

The map isbeing discussed on Redditas fans have started picking it apart and highlighting what we could potentially see when the game is released.

It appears there will be nine regions across the map - Harima, Iga, Kii, Omi, Settsu, Tamha, Yamashiro, Yamato, and Wakasa - and while these will be populated it’s unsure how densely and how much will be open fields or mountain ranges.

One of the biggest issues with the more recent Assassin’s Creed maps, despite the overall quality of the games, was the empty feeling of some areas and the idea that the countries were shrunken down.

Generally, the feedback so far has been positive with many commenting that the map seems to be on par withAssassin’s Creed Origins.u/Taboada12saysthisabout the comparison, “So this is similar to Origins' sized map? Sweet. I’ll take that. Origins was one I want to replay eventually cause I remember how bugged I was at the map size but then I played Odyssey/Valhalla.”
