Fans have beenconcerned with rumoursof internal struggles regarding the development ofAssassin’s Creed Shadowsand considering this is now the third delay, those rumours have further validity. As a fan of the series, I must admit, it is concerning.
The news of the third delay forAssassin’s CreedShadowswas announced across the official Ubisoft social media channels.
“We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to our incredible fans and dedicated teams for your unwavering support since our announcement in September to further refine and polishAssassin’s Creed Shadows,” reads the statement from Ubisoft.
“Since November we’ve been thrilled to share our progress through Gameplay Overviews, and the overwhelming excitement has truly inspired us,” it continues.

“While we’ve already made remarkable strides, we believe a few additional weeks are needed to implement that feedback and ensure an even more ambitious and engaging day-one experience.
The statement later revealed the new release date of 20 March 2025.

Hopefully, this will be the last delay forAssassin’s Creed Shadowsand the game can knock it out of the park at launch. Only time will tell.
