Finally, after months of speculation, the highly anticipatedAssassin’s Creed Shadowscinematic trailer has been revealed and has sent the hype train into overdrive.
Earlier this week,Ubisoft dropped the first teaserforAssassin’s Creed Shadowspromising the debut of its first trailer and now that time has arrived. What’s more, a previous leak regardingits release datehas proven to be true withAssassin’s Creed Shadowsdropping on 15 November 2024.

TheAssassin’s CreedShadowscinematic trailer began with a scared man running through the woods from a samurai who was later revealed to be the male protagonist, Yasuke. His tale appears to be one of redemption against his formula samurai clan that waged war against the villagers of Japan.
We also saw the female shinobi protagonist (Naoe) in action, whose tale is one of revenge against the samurai warriors who had slain her family and the village that she once called home. Now, Yasuke and Naoe put their differences aside to fight the good fight.
While purely cinematic, the trailer helped set the tone of what we can expect fromAssassin’s Creed Shadowssuch as high-octane action, as well as stealth and espionage gameplay. What’s more, the trailer may have teased the return of naval combat.
Assassin’s Creed Shadowsis a new-gen-only title and will be released on 15 November 2024 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. Hopefully, Ubisoft will reveal its first gameplay trailer in the coming weeks. The Ubisoft Forward is due to be held on 10 June.
