Assassin’s Creed: Sun’s Shadow is a stunning Aztec-era concept

One of the best things about the Assassin’s Creed series is just how flexible it is. Want a gritty adventure set in Victorian London? You got it. Feeling a sweeping pirate adventure? It’s yours. An ancient adventure across Greece? Say no more.

Even with everything behind us, there’s so much ahead forAssassin’s Creedfans, with various projects in the works atUbisoftHQ.Assassin’s Creed Mirageis next up. Then there’s a new game setAncient China, anAssassin’s Creed set in Japan, andeven one centred around witch trials.

Of course even with everything still to come fans have their own ideas for what they’d like to see from the series in the future. We’ve already seen some amazing concepts, includingone that imagines folk legend Robin Hoodas an assassin. Another, set during the Aztec era, is maybe even more impressive.

As far as we’re aware, Ubisoft doesn’t currently have any official plans to take us all the way back to this period in human history. But given that the company is currentlyreallygoing in on Assassin’s Creed, I can’t imagine it’ll be too long until we get something similar toSun’s Shadow. Let’s just hope luisparive19 gets some kind of credit for their amazing idea!
