Assassin’s Creed fans out there looking for a new fix should definitely check out a recently released adventure that takes us all over the world.
If you can’t wait for any of that, however, I can heartily recommendAssassin’s Creed: The Resurrection Plot: The Engine of History.The title is, admittedly, rather a mouthful, but it’s hands-down one of the best spinoff books based on Ubisoft’s franchise, and an excellent globetrotting adventure.

The Resurrection Plottells the tale of the dastardly Templars not only content with seizing control of Europe but also our future. Once more, it’s up to the Brotherhood of Assassins to save the day in what is being described as a “globetrotting adventure”.
“Cairo, 1869. When a bomb goes off at the Khedivial Opera House celebrating the opening of the new Suez Canal, visiting Assassin Pierrette Arnaud investigates, only to uncover a plot to eradicate free will…,” reads the synopsis. “To her surprise, her old friend and teacher Simeon Price arrives in Egypt on the same trail, seven years after they allied to stop the Templars in London. But there’s no time to reminisce as the Templars manoeuvre Europe and Africa like pieces on a chessboard, wreaking havoc on a global scale.”
It continues: “As Simeon and Pierrette race to stop further attacks, they unearth plans suggesting a mysterious tower is the key to the ultimate Templar takeover… and with the puzzling Engine of History in their grasp, the Assassins might be outmatched at last.”
