Fortunately, one fan has taken it upon themselves to imagine an Assassin’s Creed game set during World War II, and the results are astonishing.

YouTuberTeaserPlayhas usedUnreal Engine5 to make a fan trailer forAssassin’s Creed: WWII, utilising ray tracing, Lumen and Nanite to make something remarkable. It’s just a concept teaser rather than a full game, of course, but it doesn’t half get the imagination racing for what Ubisoft could create.

“One of the environments that fans have been dreaming of for a long time is occupied Paris during World War II,” TeaserPlay wrote in the video description. “In this video, we tried to provide a general picture of this dream, we hope that Ubisoft will realise this potential and we will see an official Assassin’s Creed in World War II.”
