With two new Avengers projects seemingly in the works, it appears as though an iconic character is set to make their debut in at least one of them according to a very cryptic post.

Deadpool & Wolverinehits cinemas in just a few weeks on 26 July and this will be the first time Deadpool enters the MCU. Of courseDeadpoolitself was released in 2016 and the character was known even before that in 2009’sX-Men Origins: Wolverine.

However, the upcomingmoviewhich he will star in alongside Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine will be his proper introduction to the world of Marvel.
Although it seems it won’t be his last as Reynolds took to his personal Instagram account to share a crypticpost: a looped video featuring the Avengers logo on a blue flag rustling in the wind.
However, at closer inspection, it is clear that somebody has tagged the flag with an anarchist symbol and we can take a guess at who it is.
Of course many fans now believe this to be proof that Deadpool will be starring in the upcomingAvengers 5.

This movie will mark the next direct sequel to The Avengers series and will arrive beforeAvengers: Secret Warswhich will be released in May 2027.
Not too much is known about these projects so far but we do have reports that Scarlett Johansson will bereprising her roleas Black Widow in at least one of them.
