Marvel fans are predicting the events ofAvengers: Secret Warswill “reboot” the MCU, leading to big changes in both the stories and the casting of characters.
The OG Avengers as we know them are long-gone, with the roster now consisting of new heroes like Sam Wilson’s Captain America, Shang-Chi, Kate Bishop and more.

While these new heroes are all well and good, fans are clearly missing what the MCU used to be, and following the events ofAvengers: Secret Wars, we could be looking at a resurrection.

The usersaid, “For example, let’s say post-Secret Wars, the X-Men and Fantastic Four will be integrated into the MCU’s past, having always existed and having fought alongside the Avengers. This could lead to several ways that the classic characters could be brought back.”
Of course, the multiverse could offer an alternative, as it’s impliedSecret Warswill combine multiple universes to allow for long-awaited team-ups, like the Avengers fighting alongside the X-Men.

The ending ofAvengers: Secret Warscould lead to multiple universal variants not having a universe to return to, instead seeking a home in the MCU universe instead.
Of course, only time will tell what’s on the cards, and we’ve got until 2027 to see it all unfold on the big-screen.
