We’ll see them as an infant inFantastic Four: First Steps, though they’ll have entered their teenage years forAvengers: DOOMSDAY.

Why is this important? Well, in the comics, Franklin is one of the most powerful heroes out there and can create entire universes and this plays an important role in the Secret Wars storyline which may translate to screen.

“How many characters are going to be in this movie? At this point, everyone gets like 10 seconds of screen time to fit everyone in,”saysLavenderWaffles69.

One fanhas a very interesting theory about how Franklin fits into the bigger picture: “Maybe the ‘First Steps’ are him learning to use his powers properly so he can get them all home to the prime universe from which they came.”

This would then set up audiences, allowing them to see Franklin’s power, which could go on to save the heroes at the last minute, resetting the MCU.

It’s going to be a lot of responsibility for young Franklin, and the actor that plays him.
