Not only that butAvengers: Secret Warswill follow a year later and although we don’t know anything about its story, a recent update has fans feeling reassured.
During New York Comic-Con which took place earlier this month, the Russo brothers took time out to discuss the upcoming projects and have revealed that the two movies will not be filmed back-to-back.
However, it was safe to assume this as that is exactly what happened forInfinity WarsandEndgame.
Joe Russo explained: “It’ll be similar, but we’ll have a larger break in between the two movies than we did.

Although the Russo brothers didn’t explain why, some fans guess it is so movies such asSpider-Man 4andDoctor Strange 3can be released in between.
“It’s probably because the end ofDoomsdaytriggers the end of the multiverse and the formation of the battle world,” onecommenton r/MCUTheories read.
“They’ll want a couple of movies set in that world to flesh the scenario out a bit before they have the return of the main crew to fight it out and topple the God Emperor.”
