From what Kevin Feige and certain Hollywood insiders have said, we can expect that same thing for the MCU.

Speaking recently at Disney APAC Content Showcase in Singapore, Feigecommented, “The whole story ofSecret Warsreally leads us into a new age of mutants and of the X-Men.”
This could means that mutants have been among us for some time in theMCU, much like Ms Marvel.

This would work in opposite to the infamous comic book storyline,House of M, where she wanted to eradicate mutants.
Either way, the introduction of the mutants, and having them have existed in the MCU all along, will drastically change the MCU for good.
This leaves me wondering how many Avengers-style heroes we’ll see in the next Saga.

If it’s the Mutant Saga as so many believe, will characters like Captain America still have a place?
After all, Marvel will likely want to use solo projects for major X-Men characters likeWolverineand Rogue, perhaps as new origin stories.
However it shakes out, we’re in for a very different MCU in a few years.
