Baldur’s Gate 3 beats Zelda to become 2023’s best-rated game

Since its release onPClast week,Baldur’s Gate 3has exploded in popularity, leading to steep competition for other games in the RPG genre,likeHogwarts Legacy.

While PC players have had a blast so far, console players are being forced to sit and watch the fun from afar, as their ports haven’t arrived yet.

In a surprising turn of events, the game has become atimed PlayStation exclusive, due to theXboxport facing delays due toXbox Series S limitations. On the bright side, Xbox fans could soon have access tothe first two Baldur’s Gate games, which are rumoured to be coming toXbox Game Passsoon.

TheZeldagame was released a few months ago and steamrolled to the top of the charts with high praise for its story, open world and ingenious gameplay mechanics.

Despite both deserving the title, only one may wear the crown, and for now it belongs toBaldur’s Gate 3.

With even more AAA releases on the horizon, likeMarvel’s Spider-Man 2andStarfield, one thing is certain, the Game Of The Year Awards are going to be very interesting.

Baldur’s Gate 3is currently available on PC/Steam, with a PlayStation version scheduled for release on the 6th of September this year.
