Yet, the upcoming and highly anticipatedBaldur’s Gate IIIis taking that multiple-ending formula to the next level, in a big way with apparently 17,000 different endings, well, kind of. In comparison,The Quarryhad a mighty impressive186 possible endings, but 17,000? That truly is something else. Would it even be possible to see them all?
What’s more, Ding also revealed thatBaldur’s Gate IIIhas 174 hours of cinematics, as well as 22 subclasses. Additionally, it was also recently confirmed that the RPG will require around200 hours of game time to complete a full playthrough. This level of depth just goes to show the sheer amount of passion and love that has gone into this game from the developers at Larian Studios.
Baldur’s Gate IIIwill be released for PC on 3 August, then for PlayStation 5 on 6 September 2023.
