
At least when it comes to superhero games, few would argue thatBatman: Arkham Asylumisn’t one of the best video games of all time. What if I told you that it had just gotten even better?
WhenBatman: Arkham Asylumwas released in 2009 forPC,PlayStation3 andXbox360, it changed the mould of what is expected of a superhero game forever, putting the likes of the infamously dubbedSuperman 64in the rearview mirror. Well, kind of, because I doubt none of us can truly forget that monstrosity.

In 2016,Batman: Return to Arkhamwas released which included remasters ofBatman: Arkham AsylumandBatman: Arkham Citycomplete with all previously released DLC. However, while these two classic games are still great to this day, the remasters might not have been quite the improvement that many fans had expected.
