Batman: Arkham Knight looks like a damn PS6 game in graphical overhaul you can download now

It’s fair to say that when it comes to comic book superhero adaptations, few have done it better than the Batman Arkham series from Rocksteady Studios.

Depending on who you ask, each will give a differentBatmanArkham game that they prefer. For me, the pinnacle of the series is 2015’sBatman: Arkham Knightwhich was released onPC,PlayStation4 andXboxOne, then more recently on Nintendo Switch.

“In this explosive finale, Batman faces the ultimate threat against the city that he is sworn to protect, as Scarecrow returns to unite the super criminals of Gotham and destroy the Batman forever,” reads the description of the game. At launch,Batman: Arkham Knightgarnered scoresas high as 87 on Metacritic.

It’s quite baffling to think that nearly 10 years have passed since the original launch ofBatman: Arkham Knight, yet it still looks incredible. It certainly looks, plays and tells a much better story than Rocksteady Studios’ last outing,Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.

The gameplay video really is a joy to behold and it makes me wish that Rocksteady Studios will either bring us a new single-player Batman: Arkham game or remasterArkham Knightfor modern consoles.
