Batman fans are surprised with a new Arkham game that’s been dubbed an unexpected triumph.

However, when another new game set in the Arkhamverse was announced earlier in the year withBatman: Arkham Shadow,DCfans were initially buzzing with excitement. Then it was revealed Rocksteady Studios had no direct involvement and it would be aVRgame only, quickly nerfing that excitement.

I think it’s fair to say that while many hoped thatBatman: Arkham Shadowwould at least be a half-decent game, to say that it’s more than exceeded expectations is a pleasant surprise.
UploadVRsaidthatBatman: Arkham Shadowis a “triumphant return for the Caped Crusader”, with Metroaddingthat it’s “one of the best VR experiences ever made”.
Gamers on Reddit have also expressed their delight with the Dark Knight VR simulator.

“I got to play it for an hour before getting ready for bed….it’s really good. It’s surprising how much they translated from Arkham without making me feel sick,” Kjagz33explained. “I might have to take a day off work tomorrow for this game.”
“I just played for a couple of hours, it was hard to stop but I have stuff to do. The combat is so satisfying,” said uacoop.
“It’s great. It had me doing a Christian Bale voice every time I grabbed someone from a gargoyle,” Exciting_Analysis_11 replied.
