Sometimes, the damage is simply done andBattlefield 2042has always struggled with rather lacklustre player counts.
Such a situation must’ve provided DICE andEAwith the opportunity to reflect though, and hopefully they came to the conclusion that this kind of messy launch cannot happen again if the Battlefield franchise is to have a future.

According to EA’s CEO, Andrew Wilson, the next Battlefield game will be “one of the most ambitious projects in our history” as the team set to work building a “Battlefield universe”.

“We have brought together the very best team coupled with the resources and technology they need to deliver an epic Battlefield experience,” he continued.
The problem is, we’ve somewhat heard all of this before … before the launch ofBattlefield 2042.
