
There is some bad news for fans of the Battlefield series after EA revealed it would be delisting some of the franchise’s titles in upcoming weeks.
First released back in 2002, the FPS seriesBattlefieldhas been a much-loved franchise in the genre and has welcomed over 12 mainline entries over the past 20 years.

EA is no stranger to delisting some of its large library of games and this month will seeBattlefield 3,Battlefield 4, andBattlefield: Hardlineall getting the chop forPlayStation3 andXbox360 users.
As of 31 July, these titles will be delisted which will make that the last day they can be purchased digitally.

However, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions ofBattlefield 4andHardlinewill still be available butBattlefield 3will be completely removed from console’s digital storefronts.
In good news, despite the titles being unable to be purchased after 31 July, its multiplayer modes will still be available until 7 November so you still have some time to enjoy the game.
As well as these Battlefield entries,EAis also set to delist other titles such asSuper Mega Baseball 2, Disney Sorcerer’s Arena, NHL 20andFifa22in the next few weeks.
Although this is bad news for fans of the aforementioned titles, it is worth remembering that EA will be making room for some new and exciting upcoming releases so it isn’t all doom and gloom!
