Well, if you weren’t aware, there’s aLEGO Bioniclegame coming out soon, and not only is it an RPG offering plenty of depth, but it’s also going to be completely free on Steam.
LEGO can be used to build out any popular universe
Bionicle: Masks of Poweris a fan-made game set in a huge open-world “reliving the legend of the mighty Toa and their perilous quest to collect the kanohi masks of power, free the islanders of Mata Nui, and defeat the evil Makuta!” Players will take control of six different characters and explore a gorgeous world within the Bionicle universe. It will be up to you to discover the hidden masks of power. Which, if you ask me, sounds rad.

How much we’ll see of LEGO building and designing characters is hard to know currently as all that’s up on the Steam page so far are someUnreal Engine 5landscape images that appear to be design briefs, and a short trailer showing these off in more detail. They look stunning, and if the game can match this energy then we’re onto a winner. However, it’s tough to know exactly how the game will play.
We’d expect it to be all action, as we tend to see in other LEGO titles, and given Bionicle always featured cool creatures wielding a weapon, we could see some truly awesome moments. There’s no release window on this one, so add it to your wishlist for future updates.
