As fans continue to wait for the next entry, some are taking the initiative and making their own games, or at least concepts of them.
One such concept takes the series to Paris, boasting a glorious steampunk aesthetic created inUnreal Engine5 and it’s honestly breathtaking.
It’s quite the juxtaposition to the actual rumoured location ofBioShock 4, which will supposedly be set in a domed city in Antarctica. This would make it the first game in the series to take place on land, as previous entries were set in the underwater city, Rapture, and the city in the sky, Columbia.

As for the Paris concept though, fans loved it, saying they’d love to see a future game in the series take inspiration from the demo’s location and aesthetic.
“This honestly shows the potential BioShock can have in new games. They could make it into a new series in various steampunk-inspired cities.”
“Steampunk world mixed with Paris looks amazing, props for the effort.”
“This is beautiful! The only sad thing is knowing that this isn’t official.”

While the demo is incredibly impressive, it does rub a bit of salt into the wound that we’re likely no closer to an official BioShock sequel.
