For many,Bloodborneis not only the best game in FromSoftware’s luxurious back catalogue of games but it’s also considered to be one of the greatest video games of all time. This begs the question, where are thePC and PlayStation 5 remastersand why hasntBloodborne 2been announced despite endless speculation?

Fans (myself included) are desperate for a newBloodborneexperience and what may be considered an expectation of desperation, fans yet again have renewed hope that big news fromSonyPlayStation and FromSoftware is on the way.

For starters, it’s clear that Sony still seesBloodborneas a big deal, otherwise it wouldn’t be announcing new clothing collaborations to celebrate its 10th birthday yet, Sony is still seemingly reluctant to release a sequel or remaster.

At this point, I’ve practically become numb to any kind of hope that Sony will release aBloodborneremaster orBloodborne 2. Heck, I’ve even lost all hope that we’ll even get a backwards compatible 60 frames per second PlayStation 5 update.

Bloodborneis out now on PlayStation 4 and is playable on PlayStation 5, and thankfully at least, it still holds up today.
