However, nearly 10 years have passed since the arrival ofBloodborneand since the release of the PlayStation 5 in November 2020, fans have longed forSonyand FromSoftware to give us aBloodborneremaster. Whether it’s a free PS5 upgrade or a standalone release, it’s something that fans are desperate to see.
Sadly, despite the continued plea from fans, it feels like Sony has no intention of greenlighting the release even though it would likely make the company loads of money. Even PC gamers have called for a port, given the fact that Sony has released the likes ofGod of War Ragnarök,Horizon Forbidden WestandThe Last of Us Part Ion the platform.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s great to see that many players are still adventuring in the gothic lands of Yarnham but it’s also sad that despite its popularity, a free update, remaster or remake ofBloodborneis nowhere to be seen, at least officially.
Bloodborneis available now on PlayStation 4 and is included in PS Plus. It’s also backwards compatible with PlayStation 5 but has no visual or performance upgrade.
