Bloodborne PS5 port tease seemingly spotted by PlayStation users

PlayStation gamers have spotted what looks to be a tease that might imply that we’re finally getting a PS5 port ofBloodborne. Please, Sony, don’t make this an empty tease.

Released in 2015 for thePlayStation4,Bloodborneinstantly became one of the best games from the famed Japanese studioFromSoftware.Bloodborneis widely considered to not only be one of FromSoftware’s best games, alongside the likes ofDemon’s Souls,Dark SoulsandElden Ring, but it’s also considered to be one of the best video games of all time.

For years, fans have been calling for aBloodborneremaster or remakeon PC and PlayStation 5, heck, we’d even take a basic free new-gen update. However, it’s gotten to the point that every time we see renewed hope, we can’t help but roll our eyes at the latest speculation that inevitably ends in disappointment.

It’s most likely that this is an internal error of some sort. PerhapsThe Old Hunters, which is also bundled in theBloodborne: Game of the Year Edition, was supposed to be listed as a PS Stars reward but was accidentally described as PlayStation 5 DLC instead of PS4. This listing might also be region-specific or removed because it doesn’t feature on my mobile app at the time of writing.

I won’t be getting my hopes up, as I strongly suspect this is an error. That being said,Bloodborneis such a popular game that fans are desperate for a native PC and PlayStation 5 release, that surely Sony has to make it happen one day, right?

Bloodborneis playable on PlayStation 5 but has no new-gen benefits such as improved visuals or framerate. But at the very least, it’s still a bloody great game nonetheless.
